Specialisations
Medicine and Life Sciences
Before starting my career as a translator and proofreader, I earned a PhD in Complexity Sciences from the University of Bristol. My research focused on dynamic network models, exploring the spread and evolution of sexually transmitted infections. This work resulted in two published papers in Theoretical Population Biology and PLOS Computational Biology.
I also contributed to a variety of other projects, from cancer informatics to biodiversity in food webs.
Continuing professional development is a priority for me. I regularly attend conferences, workshops, and training programmes to expand my knowledge stay updated on the latest advancements. In recent years, I have taken courses on pharmacy prescription, pharmacovigilance writing and virology, as well as participating in events and discussions held by the ITI Medical & Pharmaceutical network.

I can help you with the translation and proofreading of:
- Patient notes
- Case reports
- Journal articles
- Clinical trial documentation
I’m excited to bring this expertise and enthusiasm to my work, combining analytical rigour with a passion for knowledge and discovery.

Mathematics
Before starting my career as a translator and proofreader, I earned an undergraduate Master’s in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bristol, which included a diverse range of modules such as Number Theory, Computational Neuroscience, and Advanced Cryptography. I later built on these skills for my PhD research, which involved the use of mathematical modelling and graph theory.
Through these studies and my experience with translation, I have honed my analytical skills while improving my ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts effectively. I have translated numerous documents on topics such as Fermat numbers, Goldbach’s Conjecture and using logical notation and truth tables to unravel the complexities of Plato’s Parmenides dialogue.
I can help you with the translation and proofreading of:
- Journal articles
- Academic theses and dissertations
- Press releases
Leveraging this expertise in my translation work, I ensure precision and clarity in technical texts, accurately conveying mathematical concepts across languages.
